Glycopulp 45 is composed of:

• Propylene glycol (propanediol 1 2)
• organic carrier: pulp of chicory roots dried at low t^o (70 ‘C) in powder form.

Glycopulp 45 is specifically intended for high productive diary cows preventing milk production disorders.

Applications

Dairy cows:     – last week of gestation: 200 g/day/animal

– The first 100 days of the lactation period: 2 % in the feed mix or 300g/day/cow.

Dairy goats:      55 g/day/animal.

How does it work?

Glycopulp 45 increases the production of propionic acid in the rumen. It prevents metabolic disorders. The rumen walls reabsorb the propylene glycol and the propionic acid, which are intended for the production of liver glycogen (liver sugar).

Glycopulp 45 offers the following advantages:

• Good intake of propylene glycol, easy to administrate (free flowing powder).

Before calving:

• Propylene glycol provides directly sugar to the blood, it improves the development of the calf.
• Dry feed intake one week before calving is reduced by 25 0/0, while the need for energy is quite intensifying due to the development of the calf and the preparation of the milk production. Glycopulp 45 guarantees a better start of the milk production.

After calving:

• Prevents prolonged milk production disorders: by maintaining the level of the energy balance. The feed intake after calving will increase faster.
• Fertility is positively influenced, because the animal doesn’t lose too much weight.
